Acai Superfood Smoothie Bowl



This nutrient-dense Acai Smoothie Bowl is loaded with antioxidants & superfoods that will keep your body vibrant and healthy. This sweet & creamy recipe is the perfect combination of healthy fats, proteins, & carbs. A well-balanced and nutritious breakfast that you will love!






I N G R E D I E N T S:

  • 1 frozen packet of unsweetened acai (I use the brand Sambazon)

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 1 scoop vanilla flavored vegan protein powder

  • 1-2 cups unsweetened non-dairy milk

  • Toppings: banana, frozen blueberries, flaxseed meal & cinnamon, optional.


I N S T R U C T I O N S:

  1. Add your avocado, acai, blueberries, protein powder, and 1 cup non-dairy milk to a blender. Blend at high speed until smooth and creamy. Add more non-dairy milk if needed.

  2. Scoop your blended ingredients into a bowl & spread evenly.

  3. Top with sliced banana, frozen blueberries, and flaxseed meal. Dust with some cinnamon, if desired.

  4. Enjoy!




N O T E S:

You can adjust the ingredients for anything that is most accessible to you. Use whichever protein powder you'd like or skip it. You can add a banana instead for that extra boost of sweetness. Acai packets can be found in the health food section of most grocery stores however, if you can't find it just use extra frozen blueberries or mixed berries.


Use any toppings that you prefer. Strawberries, kiwis, nuts, and granola would all go well with this recipe.


If you want an extra kick of nutrients, add a green powder or spirulina.
