Homemade Vegan Cereal



A perfectly balanced breakfast packed with protein, vitamins, and minerals. This healthy cereal recipe is crunchy, sweet, & really easy to make. The best part about this recipe is that it has no added refined sugars, making it the wonderful alternative to most store-bought cereals. All you need to do is throw all of your ingredients together and enjoy. The ideal breakfast for a busy lifestyle!


To try this recipe at home, HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:


  • 1/2 cup dried mulberries

  • 1/2 cup nut mix- I love the Second Nature Keto Crunch Smart Mix but, you can use any nut mix you prefer.

  • 1 banana, sliced

  • 1 handful blueberries

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal


Add your ingredients to a bowl, top with some non-dairy milk & enjoy!





NOTES:

-This recipe is totally customizable. You can add other fruits like apples, kiwis, mangoes, or any of your other favorites. Have a nut allergy? Use pumpkin or sunflower seeds instead of nuts. Any nuts or seeds will add that perfect cereal crunch so, use whichever you prefer!

-This recipe yields one bowl of cereal.

-If you can't find dried mulberries at your local grocery store, try using raisins instead!

-You can use other spices like pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, or ginger to give more warmth.
